Small Town Engagements | KC + Kristen

I know Kristen because her oldest sister is my best friend. I took Amanda’s engagements. And I was delighted to get contact from Kristen regarding doing her wedding and engagements.

When she contacted me at first, we discussed possible locations that were close to where they live in Richfield, Utah. She had said she recntly had photos taken with red rocks, so she really wanted something different. Luckily, I had a few options to send to her and she loved two places near each other so we could get variety in looks and vibes.

We stuck with a bit more of a semi-formal look for the white hill location, and then KC + Kristen changed into some jeans and shirts after we got to the field for more of a small town feel. Casual engagements in a hay field in a rural area is so cozy to me!

I love meeting couples. I love getting to know not only each persons personality, but also the couples personality together. It’s one of the things that attracts me to taking photos of couples. Like how funny KC is and how ambitious Kristen is. And the way they just made each other laugh and giggle all evening.

Anyways, I had a blast and I can’t wait for the wedding day!
